How we rate eSIM providers

Every provider in our eSIM rating is scored from 0 to 10 on six criteria. The overall score is the simple average, so no single feature can carry a provider to the top on its own.

  • Reputable third-party reviews, cited by name when we use their findings

What the scores are not

Not a speed test

We do not publish lab speed results. Real speed and coverage depend on the local partner network, your location and the time of day. Treat any provider's coverage count as its own claim.

Updates

We review the rating when a provider changes its plans, payment methods or terms, and at least once per quarter. The date at the top of each page shows the latest review.
